Woodrow Quesenberry Jr.
Woodrow Riley “Woody” Quesenberry, Jr., 67, of Stewartstown went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, June 15, 2018. He was the husband of Susan Faye (Diehl) Quesenberry to whom he was married 46 years.
Born in York he was a son of the late Woodrow Riley Sr. and Jean Marie (Fetters) Quesenberry. Woody was a 1969 graduate of Kennard Dale High School. He worked for Fox Pools, Borg Warner, and as a broker of agricultural products. He was a faithful and devoted servant who loved the Lord with all his heart and led many to Christ through witnessing, encouragement, teaching, prayer and hosting many individuals and families at his home. Woody prayed daily for his loved ones. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and was an avid Civil War enthusiast who enjoyed traveling to Gettysburg and sharing stories that he learned over his years of study. Woody loved reading and studying the Bible, spending time his family, riding motorcycles, and traveling to the mountains and oceans.
In addition to his wife Susan, he is survived by two children Jennifer Marie, wife of Jose Lua and Benjamin Mark Quesenberry and wife Mindy; five grandchildren Olivia Lucia Lua, Zachary Thomas Lua, Brooke Taylor Quesenberry, Alex Reed Quesenberry and Katie Marie Quesenberry. Woody was preceded in death by two brothers Randy “Joe” Fetters and William Clark Quesenberry.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 9AM at St. Peter’s Church, 1708 Seitzville Road, Seven Valleys, PA 17360 with Pastor Thomas E. Beck officiating. Interment will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Viewings will be held Friday evening from 6-8PM at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S. Main St. Stewartstown and also one hour prior to the service at the Church on Saturday.
