Betty Jane (Ehrhart) Fix

Betty Jane (Ehrhart) Fix, 75, of Glen Rock, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024. Born and raised in Glen Rock, she was the daughter to the late Clyde Samuel and Mary Esther (Bankert) Ehrhart. Betty was the beloved wife to Samuel Wayne Fix for 58 years.

Betty was a member of the American Legion Post 403. She worked as a clerk for 45 years for Thrift Family Store which became a Rutter’s. Betty enjoyed eating out with friends, and was an avid animal lover, especially penguins. She loved Curious George, collecting the stuffed animals, as well as watching him on TV.

In addition to her husband, Samuel, Betty is survived by her son, Samuel W. Fix II; 2 sisters, Charlotte M. Grimm and Martha M. Grimm; 1 brother, Clyde S. Ehrhart II. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A public viewing will be held from 10-11am Saturday, April 6 at Bethlehem Steltz Reform Church 5890 Steltz Rd, Glen Rock, PA 17327. A funeral service will begin at 11am at the church. Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
