Donald L. Jones

Donald L. Jones, 82, passed from this life on January 12, 2023. He was born in Marion, VA, to the late Clarence and Ernestine (Lambert) Jones. Donald was the loving husband of 62 years to Lutta ‘Louise’ (Phipps) Jones. He worked in the custodial department for Harford County Schools and, not only was Donald dearly loved by the students, but by the employees as well. He will be greatly missed.

Donald is survived by his loving wife, Louise; children, Richard Jones (Kathy), Trudena Houghtelin (Keith), and Emma LaMartina (Anthony); 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and siblings, Alan Jones (Janice), Judy Jung (Phil) and Michael Jones (Eva). He was preceded in death by his siblings, Connie Maners and Ronald Jones.

A viewing will be held at Hartenstein Funeral and Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, PA 17363, on Wednesday, January 18 from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m., with prayers and a eulogy beginning at 7 p.m. There will be a graveside service on Thursday, January 19, at 11:00 a.m. in Harford Memorial Gardens, 3839 Aldino Rd., Aberdeen, MD, 21001.
