Alice M Somerville

Alice M. Somerville, 87, of Seven Valleys passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019 at WellSpan York Hospital. She was the wife of the late John W. Somerville who passed away in 2007. Born in Susquehanna Twp., Cambria County she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Lillian (Lloyd) Westover. Alice was a homemaker and enjoyed baking, cooking, babysitting her nieces, nephews and grandchildren. She was a member of St. Peter’s Church in Seven Valleys. Alice is survived by three sons Dennis J. Somerville and wife Kathy of Seven Valleys, David W. Somerville and wife Bonnie of Shrewsbury and Delbert W. Somerville and wife Laurie of Bernville; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchildand numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son Donald Somerville and an infant daughter as well as four brothers and five sisters. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 28, 2019 at 11AM from Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc. 24 N. Second St. New Freedom, PA. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 11AM at East Ridge Cemetery, Ridge Road (Clearfield County) Westover, PA 16692. A viewing will be held Monday from 10AM until the time of her service at the funeral home.
