Amber Lynn Cockey

Amber Lynn Cockey, 40, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 9, 2025.

She was the loving wife of F. Scott Ryan of Bel Air, MD with whom she shared 11 years of marriage.

Amber graduated from Kennard-Dale High School and was most recently employed with Kelsi Cleaning Services in Fawn Grove. Her passion was working alongside her husband caring for 33 reptiles with Ryan’s Reptile Rescue & Rehoming. She also loved going on road trips and traveling to the mountains with her family.

In addition to her husband Scott, she is survived by her son, Dominic Anthony Ryan; stepson Vance Payne Ryan; brother Edgar "Kane" Cockey, III and his wife Kristi Cockey and their children Spencer Elizabeth and Charlotte Ann Cockey; and parents, Edgar K. Cockey, Jr. and Melanie L. (Henderson) Cockey. She was preceded by her sister Elizabeth R. "Lizzy" Cockey in 2014.

Viewing will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, PA 17363. The service will begin at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Melissa A. McDade officiating.
