Anna G. Butt

After years of suffering from dementia, Anna Gertrude Butt, 90, is finally at peace and pain free. Our Lord took her home on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. She had been married 65 years to Francis J. Butt, who has been waiting for her since September 2021. The wait is over. Born in Raspeburg, MD, she was the daughter of the late Thomas E. and Mary A. (Meyett) Polley.

She was employed with C & P Telephone Co. during the 1950’s and 1960’s and later employed with the former Saco Supply Co. during the 1970’s. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in New Freedom.

Surviving are two children Lawrence T. Butt and his wife, Ramona of New Park and Rosemarie Allison and her husband, Randy of Shrewsbury; six grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and extended family. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary E. Miller and Agnes Alexander and a brother, Thomas E. Polley Jr.
