Anna Jane Blevins

Anna Jane Blevins, 88, of Stewartstown, passed from this life on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. She was the beloved wife of Marvin T. Blevins and they celebrated 65 years of marriage in March of 2021. Born in Hopewell Twp., Anna Jane was the daughter of the late L. Allen and Viola (Taylor) Bartenslager. Anna Jane was a faithful member of St. John (Sadler’s) Lutheran Church, and previously was a member of the former St. Paul (Mt. Pleasant) Lutheran Church, both in Stewartstown; she was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Triangle Chapter #483 in Shrewsbury. She retired from Kennard-Dale High School after many years as their school secretary. She enjoyed walks, car rides, the mountains in Potter County, and family gatherings. She loved her family and will be dearly missed by them as well as all who knew her. Surviving in addition to her husband is her son, Randy G. Blevins of Stewartstown. She was preceded in death by siblings, Kathryn Morrison Brown, and Donald A. and Joseph A. Bartenslager. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, at St. John (Sadler’s) Lutheran Church, 2916 Sadler’s Church Road, Stewartstown, PA 17363, with a funeral service starting at 2 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Mt.
