Anna Margaret Lilley, 83, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 26, 2019.She was the loving wife of the late John Lilley who died January 28, 1976. Born in Baltimore, Md., she was the daughter of the late Caleb G. and Margaret Estelle (Campbell) Ward. Anna Margaret was a homemaker, but more importantly, she was a wonderful, caring (and feisty) woman whose selflessness made a difference in so many lives.She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a member of Gunpowder Baptist Church. Surviving are five children: John W. Lilley and his wife, Deborah, of Littlestown, Jeanne D. Moss of Hanover, Randy Lilley of Gettysburg, Debbie Lee Burk, and her husband, Michael of Stewartstown, and Ward Lilley, and his wife Theresa of Gettysburg; 11 grandchildren, Shanna Camargo, Jordan L. Dearden, Kristen L. Moss, Allen J. Lilley, Thomas R. Lilley, Christopher Lilley, Rebecca A. Burk, Catherine N. Burk, Samantha R. Burk, Christina Lilley, and Brittney N. Stevens; 12 great grandchildren; a brother, John Ward of Glencoe, Md.; and 21 foster children. She was preceded in death by four siblings, Myrtle Violet Comeaux, Darce Jean Corbin, Lois Lee Cole, and Calvin Benjamin Ward; and a son-in-law, Jake Moss. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a service celebrating Anna Margaret’s life at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2019, at Gunpowder Baptist Church, 20074 Middletown Road, Freeland, MD, 21053.
