Anne Voshell Stout-Duff, 87, of New Freedom, PA, passed away on 1/8/2025.  She was the wife of Robert H Duff, who passed away 12/29/2024. Anne was born February 22, 1937 in Cordova, MD, daughter of the late Jesse and Dorothy (Stinson) Voshell. She was a 1955 graduate of Easton (MD) High School and a 1959 graduate of Western Maryland (now Mc Daniel) College in Westminster, MD.

Anne was a member of Bethlehem Steltz Reformed Church of Glen Rock, PA, where she previously served as a deacon, and a past member of Trinity United Methodist Church of New Freedom, PA, where she served on numerous committees and had several leadership positions. After moving from Baltimore to New Freedom in 1977, she became very active in volunteer work in the community, and established many lifelong friendships through work for the American Cancer Society Daffodil Days, New Freedom Community Center, and New Freedom Carnival Lions Club work, leveraging her talents of organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills.

She was a long-time physical education teacher in Baltimore County, MD and other employment included Crescent Industries, Atkins House, and the New Freedom Cemetery Association where she served as Secretary/Treasurer until her retirement several years ago. Her hobbies included gardening, reading, bird-watching, cooking, baking, and was known for her gift of hospitality.

Anne leaves a son, Jeff of New Oxford, PA and his partner Ron Overlid, who she regarded as a second son, sisters Joan Daffin and Peggy Dunlap, both of Easton, MD and a brother, Lee Voshell and wife Eleanor, of Marydel, MD. She is also survived by her step children Susan Snider (David), Sandra Cassard (Willem), and Steven Duff, step grandchildren Benjamin, Genevieve, Markell, Caroline, Lydia, Samantha, Henry, and Isabelle. Step great-grandchildren Reine, Alanna, Charlotte, William, Michael and Auggie. Anne is also survived by 6 nephews and 6 nieces. Anne is predeceased by former spouse Roger Stout and brother Vane Voshell.

Anne was much loved in her community, leaving a legacy of love and friendship with many neighbors past and present. She and her late spouse Bob were the beneficiary of many acts of kindness over the past several years as they struggled with health issues from nearby neighbors Lisa and Jeff Dukes, Colleen Leo, Susie and Bob Markline, Matt and Natalie Krause, and Joe and Angela Robataille. Anne was the grateful recipient of excellent medical care over the past few years from Dr. Nandita Kinley and her care team at Cancer Care Associates of York.
