Arthur Sterling Tracey

Arthur Sterling Tracey, 90, of Freeland, Maryland passed away peacefully on May 12, 2021 at home. Born on December 30, 1930, he was the loving husband of Joan M. (Pignataro) Tracey, who he had been married to for 44 years. Born in Beckleysville, MD he was the youngest child of the late Richard and Jennie Alverta (Patterson) Tracey. Arthur was a dedicated dairy and crop farmer and was happiest in the seat of a tractor at planting and harvest seasons. Arthur is survived by his devoted wife Joan, and his children A. Richard Tracey and his wife Ruth Ann, Patricia Bedgar, Jennie Bentzel and her husband Anthony, Karen (McMahon) Trulli and her husband Tom, and Matthew McMahon and his wife Leah; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his former wife Freeda Graziano and his 10 siblings. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 12PM from Wiseburg United Methodist Church, 810 Wiseburg Rd. White Hall, MD 21161 with Rev. Andrew Greenwood officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. A viewing will be held from 10AM until the time of his service at the church. Attendees are required to practice social distancing.
