Audrey Mae Wilson

Audrey Mae Wilson, 96, of York passed away Sunday, May 30, 2021 at Colonial Manor in York. She was the wife of the late C. Merle Wilson. Born in Flat Gap, VA she was a daughter of the late Henry and Mattie (Church) Sturgill. Audrey was a seamstress during her career and previously had attended the Turnpike Baptist Church in Shrewsbury. She is survived by two sisters Jean Johnson of Columbus, OH and Sue Kattus of Lexington, KY and numerous nieces and nephews. Audrey was preceded in death by three siblings Emory Sturgill, Mary Sorsen and Rowena Caudill. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 4, 2021 at 1PM from Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. 2nd St. New Freedom. Interment will follow in Pine Grove United Methodist Cemetery, Parkton, MD. A viewing will be held from 12pm until the time of her service at the funeral home. Attendees will be required to wear a mask per funeral home policy.
