Austin G. Bollinger

Austin G. Bollinger, 97 of Dover, PA passed away Friday, February 16, 2024. Born in New Freedom, he was the son of the late Jacob and Fainey (Diffendeffer) Bollinger. He was the loving husband to his wife Margaret (Walker) Bollinger, who shared 70 years of marriage together.

Austin was a big fan of NASCAR, especially the Earnhardts #3 and #88. He enjoyed Wehrly’s Auction of Glen Rock. He liked hunting, dancing, and watching wrestling.

In addition to his wife, Margaret, Austin is survived by many nieces and nephews, Larry, Bobby, Dorothy, Darleen, Melvin, and Donna.

A public viewing will be held Monday, February 26 from 6-8pm at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc. 24 N 2nd St, New Freedom, PA 17349. A funeral service will take place Tuesday, February 27 at 11am at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York.
