Barbara S. Ober

Barbara "Sue" Ober, 63, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2020. Sue was born in Baltimore, MD, the daughter of the late James D. Costa, Sr. and Johnnie M. (Workman) Costa. She was the wife of Scott G. Ober, Sr. to whom she was married 36 years. She worked at Key Plastics for 38 years until she retired in March 2019. In addition to her husband, survivors include her son, Scott G. Ober, Jr. and his wife Jenn; her daughter, Lara S. Ober and her companion Matthew Smith; 3 grandchildren, Jenna Defontes, John Ober, and Calvin Smith; brother, James Costa, Jr.; sister, Karen Eveler; numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested by the family to help defray funeral expenses, checks may be made payable to: Scott Ober, Sr.
