Barbara D. Phillips

Barbara D. Phillips, 84, of Parkton passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021. She was the longtime companion of Frank Lambert. Born in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Ralph & Evelyn (Haslett) Wilson. Barbara enjoyed her nursing career, going to the shore, bowling, and nascar. She also loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Barbara was the proud mother of four children LeRoy Phillips, Richie Phillips, Winnie Stickles and son-in-law Mike, and Kim Currey; Five grandchildren Sarah, Kristin, Ashleigh, Abigail, Shannon, Garrett, and Kendall; Three great-grandchildren Angelina, Olivia, and Brayden. Barbara is also survived by her former husband Jerry Phillips. Barbara was preceded in death by a son-in-law Bruce Currey and a sister Carolyn Miller. Services and interment will be private. Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc. of New Freedom is assisting the family during this time.
