Barry L. Koch

Barry Koch, 72, of Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania, passed away on June 29th after a two year battle with pancreatic cancer.He was the husband of Kathleen (Ozarowski) Koch to whom he was married to for over 48 years. Barry was born in Baltimore, MD to Lawrence Koch Sr. and Geraldine (Carr) Koch. He was a U.S. Navy Reservist for six years and then a Baltimore County Policeman for 33 years.Barry was a member of the American Legion for 50 years. He is survived by his loving wife Kathy, daughter Rebecca Smith and husband Tim, son Ryan Koch and wife Tina; grandchildren Oliver Smith; Natalie and Nora Koch. Barry is also survived by three brothers: Lawrence Koch Jr., Garry Koch and wife Linda, Cary Koch and wife Anne plus a sister Terri Uematsu.He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Gerald. He was a family man who enjoyed spending his time with family and friends especially with his three adorable grandchildren.Barry and Kathy were avid travelers and enjoyed over 20 cruises.
