Beda Obrigkeit (Hack)

Beda S. Obrigkeit (nee Hack), 87, of New Freedom. She was the wife of the former George J. Obrigkeit (2007). She is survived by her daughter Joyce Anne (Obrigkeit) and husband Steven Lang, grandchildren - David, Steven and Rebecca Lang, her brother Maurus C. Hack and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. The oldest of three children, Beda was the daughter of the former Norberta M. (Stroebel) and Frank (Franz) Hack, who met for the first time on US soil after immigrating from Germany through Ellis Island, NY, prior to WWII.She was also the sister to the former, Mrs. Norberta F. Parks (2005). Mass will be celebrated Friday, March 23, 11 am, St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 315 N. Constitution Avenue, New Freedom, PA. Interment in the church cemetery follows. Friends may pay respects at church, Friday at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made in memory of Beda and George Obrigkeit to St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 315 N. Constitution Avenue, New Freedom, PA, 17349.
