Bertha "Bert" Marie Labarre Mann

Bertha “Bert” Marie LaBarre Mann, 92, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022. She was the wife of the late Willard LaBarre who passed away in 1975 and the late Lawrence “Larry” Mann who passed away in 2018. Born in Baltimore, MD, Bert was the daughter of the late Josiah Earl Biddison, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her four siblings, Josiah, Jr., William, John and Audrey. Bert is survived by her two sons, Gary LaBarre and his wife, Debbie, and Dave LaBarre and his wife, Sally; four grandchildren, Dawn, Michael, Katie, and Phillip; four great grandchildren, Conner, Evan, Kenzie, and Kevin. Bert graduated from Kenwood High School; Class of 1947. She was a very accomplished athlete, being voted best athlete in her senior class. She was a longtime employee of Stebbins Anderson. She loved to travel, crochet, and sew her own clothing. There will be a public viewing on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 3:00- 5:00 p.m. and 7:00- 9:00 p.m.at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St. New Freedom, PA.
