Bertha J. Ziegler

Bertha J. Ziegler, 79 died July 5, 2023. Wife of Francis ‘Jerry’ Ziegler, they celebrated 50 years of marriage in 2022. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of William ‘Flicker’ and Naomi (Miller) Diegert. Bertha was a beautician for many years. A faithful member of over 50 years of Prospect U.M. Church, she also was a lifetime member of Citizens Volunteer Fire Company Ladies’ Auxiliary, Fawn Grove. Bertha loved her flowers and her flower beds and adored her granddaughter, Cierra.

Surviving in addition to her husband is a daughter, Darlene M. Sausman and her husband, Jerry; and a granddaughter, Cierra M. French and her husband, Kolin Delany. Bertha was preceded in death by brothers, Billy and Henry Diegert.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a viewing from 10 – 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 11, from Prospect U.M. Church, 8 Orchard Road, New Park, PA 17352 (Gatchellville) with a funeral service starting at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
