Beth Lyn Waltemire

Beth Lyn Waltemire, 50, of York, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 8, 2023. She was born in York, Pennsylvania to George C. and Susan J. (Creager) Waltemire.

Beth graduated from Kennard-Dale High School in 1990 with honors and was class president all four years. She continued her education at the York College of Pennsylvania where she graduated in 1994. She received her master’s degree from Villanova University in 1996. She was employed by Wellspan for over 20 years when she decided to leave and continue her career in health care at Misericordia, Penn State Health, and Encompass. Beth was also a member of the Stewartstown United Methodist Church. She enjoyed family, cooking, painting, arts and crafts, and family beach trips.

She is survived by her parents George and Susan; sisters, Kelli Landis and husband, Todd, Jill Hamme and husband, Bob; nieces, Sara and Kelli Ann Hamme; and a nephew, Fletcher Landis. Beth will be dearly missed by all who got the chance to know her.

A public visitation will be held Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 10:00 AM, with an 11:00 AM memorial service, located at the Stewartstown United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Dr. Keith Braucher. Interment will immediately follow the service at Stewartstown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Beth, to the Stewartstown United Methodist Church, 26 S. Main St., Stewartstown, PA 17363.
