Betty 'Jean' Cochran

Betty ‘Jean’ Cochran, 90, passed from this life on Friday, December 1, 2023. She was the devoted wife of the late Randoulph Cochran who passed in 2001. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Zimmerman) Zimmerman. Jean had been a bank teller for many years.

Surviving are two children, Tamara Smith and her spouse, Thomas, of Jarrettsville, MD, and Randy Cochran and his spouse, Denise of Stewartstown; 6 grandchildren; and she was ‘Auntie’ to Mike and Denise. She was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Fell.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a viewing from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 5 at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S. Main Street, Stewartstown, PA 17363. There will be a funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 6, at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc. followed by interment in Holly Hill Memorial Gardens, 10201 Bird River Road, Baltimore, MD  21220.
