Betty Powers Mauler

Betty Powers Mauler, 59, of Glen Rock, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2019. Born in Baltimore, MD, Betty was the daughter of Christina Ann (Linkous) Denmyer and the late Delmar Powers who died in 2018. She was the wife of the late George J. Mauler, Jr. who died in 2006, with whom she shared 27 years of marriage. Betty worked as a line operator at McCormick & Company. She loved to go to yard sales, traveling, and crocheting. In addition to her mother Christina, she is survived by her three children David Seiler, George J. Mauler, III and Laura Mauler; 8 grandchildren Haley, Alex, Anthony, Laylah, Shawn, Jazlynn, Brianna, and Christopher; sister Barbara Sue Tracey and her husband Jeffery, brother Jerry Dean Powers and his wife Becky; two half-brothers Daniel Denmyer and Michael Denmyer; step-mother Shelva Powers and step-sister Robin Stoner- Finley. Viewings will be held on Tuesday, February 5th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, February 6th from 10:00 -11:00 a.m. at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St. New Freedom, PA., with a funeral service immediately following at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Stablers Cemetery in Parkton, MD.
