Betty Jane O'Connor

Betty Jane O’ Connor, 70, of Felton, passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at her residence. Born in Fountain Green, MD, Betty was the daughter of the late Festust D. Hensley and Missouri Jane (Anders) Lochary. She was a United States Army Veteran. She was a former member of Moose Lodge 1450 in Aberdeen, MD and the American Legion, Post #455 in Stewartstown. Betty enjoyed crafts, dancing and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by a daughter Jamie L. Wagoner and her boyfriend Thomas Hines; 3 grandchildren Tyler and his wife Emily, Danielle and her boyfriend Damien, Ryan and his wife Katie; 3 great grandchildren Hailey, Carley, Adalyn and one on the way, Izabella; 6 siblings Brenda Leftridge and her husband Charles, Barbara Dalton and her husband Tom, Gerald Hensley and his wife Margaret, James Hensley, Sandra Ackerman, and Mitzi Eichorn.She was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Ray Hensley. Viewing will be held on Friday, January 25th from 10:00 - 12:00 p.m., with a funeral service immediately following at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S. Main St. Stewartstown, PA. Interment will be at Bel Air Memorial Gardens with military rites provided by Maryland National Honor Guard; please meet at the cemetery gates between 2:30 – 2:45pm on Friday to proceed to the grave for a committal service.
