Beverly Ann Bortner

Beverly Ann Bortner, 67, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022. She was the wife of Donald L. Bortner, Jr.  of New Freedom, together they shared 37 years of marriage.

Born in Baltimore, MD, Bev was the daughter of the late Ralph Baker and Mary Frances (Hunt) Blevins.

Bev is survived by her husband Donald and two children Chad Lippiatt and his wife, Mandy, and Ashley Pantano and her husband, Philip; three grandchildren, Paige, Nicholas, and Emma Pantano; three brothers, Mike Blevins and his wife, Laurie, Dean Gray and his wife, Kim, and John Gray; sister, Deb Gray.

Bev graduated from Susquehannock High School. She enjoyed gardening, home decorating, baking, and spending time with family and friends.

There will be a public visitation on Monday, October 10, 2022 from 5:00 - 7:00pm  at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St. New Freedom, PA. A Memorial Service will begin at 6:30pm on Monday at the funeral home.

Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
