Billie Jo Hare

Billie Jo Hare, 48, of York, died Tuesday, March 8, 2016. She was the beloved daughter of Janet (Thomas) Hartel, of Spring Hill, FL, and the late William Wilson, Sr. Born in Baltimore, MD, on September 14, 1967, Billie Jo enjoyed music, dancing, and being with her friends. She loved her family deeply. Surviving in addition to her mother are two children, Brittany M. Hare, of Stewartstown, and Ashley J. Hare, York; two grandchildren, Amara and Elijah Valentin; a brother, William E. Wilson, Jr., and his wife Kendra, Codorus Twp.; and a sister, Stacey M. Haller, New Freedom. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral service honoring her life 3 PM Sunday, March 13, 2016, at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom. There will be no interment at this time. There will be a viewing from 1 PM until 3 PM at the funeral home. The family would appreciate donations to help defray funeral expenses.
