Blanche Elizabeth Standley

On Wednesday, November 6, 2019, Blanche E. (Wright) Standley, 85, passed away at Wellspan York Hospital.Blanche was born on February 22, 1934 in White Hall, MD to the late Leonard E. and Eva (Ensor) Wright. She worked at Maryland Specialty Wire, Inc. in Cockeysville, MD for 28 years before retiring.She enjoyed listening to bluegrass music and going to music festivals. Blanche is survived by her two children, W. Lee Miller and Earnie Lee Standley; one sister, Beverly Corbett-Robbins; and two canine companions that she adored, Shadow and Dipper.She was preceded in death by her parents; and her former husband, Eldon Lee Standley. Services are private at Blanche's request.In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory are recommended to West Liberty United Methodist Church, 20400 West Liberty Rd., White Hall, MD 21161.
