Bonnie Lee Brown was born on July 26, 1956, second daughter to Walter and Olivia (Stagnoli) Brown.She was six years younger than her sister, Linda, and 14 years older than her other sister, Tammy.Bonnie loved her parents and sisters so much that she elected to grow her roots in the community of Woodberry.A member of the Woodberry Bible Church, she often served as the church organist. A graduate of Western High School in 1974, Bonnie elected to take some college courses. She opted not to finish as she was most interested in settling down and starting her own family. Bonnie met Michael G. Miller at Koppers Company in 1978.Knowing Mike’s love for cars and his knowledge with fixing them, Bonnie asked Mike to assist with making repairs on her Monte Carlo.Soon the two began dating and Bonnie said yes to Mike’s proposal.Six months later, on October 14, 1978, Mike and Bonnie wed.Bonnie legally changed her name to Bonnie Brown Miller. Bonnie loved and cherished her in-laws, George and Lorraine Miller.They accepted Bonnie as if she were their own child.Bonnie gained another sister, Mike’s sister, Bonnie.To differentiate between the two, Bonnie B. Miller was forever nicknamed “Bee.” On January 22, 1981, Mike and Bonnie welcomed their first daughter, Wendy.Bonnie was well suited for motherhood and her and Mike soon welcomed Amy on December 16, 1982.Not yet considering their family complete, Mike and Bonnie welcomed their miracle child, Tracy, on December 16, 1985. Bonnie raised all three of her girls to know and love the Lord.She accompanied them to church every Sunday and saw to it that they attended Good News Club.Outside of the religious teachings, Bonnie instilled in her girls the values of education, hard work, dedication, all the while reminding them to keep the faith. Bonnie’s family expanded when her daughters married.She welcomed each man as the sons she never had. Bonnie looked forward to family vacations in Ocean City, New Jersey.She never missed an opportunity to spend time with any one of her family members, especially time with her brothers-in-law, Dave, Tom, and Brian.Aunt Bee-Bee to many of her nieces and nephews, she took every opportunity to spoil and to dote on each as often as possible. Loving, caring, compassionate, loyal, and strong-willed are just a few adjectives to describe Bonnie.However, she is most memorable for her funny, loud, and outgoing personality that captured the attention and hearts of many. Bonnie spent most of her time as a full-time mother and housewife.However, Bonnie worked in many administrative positions over the years.Outside of motherhood, nothing was as fulfilling as her job working as a music teacher for Medfield Heights Elementary School.Bonnie was always amazed by each student and often found joy in the ability to contribute to each students’ musical growth and talents. Bonnie and Mike relocated to Stewartstown, Pennsylvania.She finally found her dream home.She enjoyed venturing about with Mike exploring all Farmville had to offer. Unfortunately, in the fall of 2017 Bonnie was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Dementia.While Bonnie and her immediately family understood the depths of this disease, no one, including Bonnie, was prepared for the fast decline in her health. Bonnie’s greatest legacy is her daughters.They were her world. To the very end, Bonnie never failed to forget the words, “I LOVE YOU.” There will be a viewing from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. 2nd St., New Freedom, Pa 17349. There will be a funeral service honoring Bonnie’s life at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 8, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lake View Memorial Park, 2724 Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD 21784.
