Bonnie Ann Palm

May 9, 1955 — May 17, 2022

Bonnie Ann Palm, 67, passed away unexpectedly on May 17, 2022. She was born in Augusta, GA on May 9, 1955 to Janice M. Richardson and the Late Cecil J. Richardson. She was the loving wife of James T. Palm. Bonnie previously worked at Lincoln Intermediate School and in the Banking Industry for many years. She was a Sunday School teacher and a Leader of the Youth group at her church. Above all else, Bonnie was a homemaker, who loved spending time with her children and two grandsons, the youngest of which called her “MimiPops”. She loved to sit on the porch of her grandparent’s home which she lived in and play with her dog, Bella, and all of her many, many cats, which she called by name. She enjoyed reading and especially enjoyed the holidays. It was her favorite time to dote on her family. During the holidays, no one was ever too old for an Easter basket or Christmas stocking; she always made sure family went home with more than enough leftovers even though they would always forget to return her Tupperware. Bonnie had the best luck when it came to penny slot machines & scratch offs. She loved telling the joke “what did Delaware?” “Her New Jersey” whenever she would travel through Delaware and some of her favorite things to say were “ok huney”, “shewww” & “aww that’s nice”. She was loved by many and will be missed by all that knew her. Bonnie is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, James T. Palm; children, Matthew Palm, Megan Schaufert and her companion, Scott, and Michael Palm and his wife, Jackie; two grandsons, Griffin and Grayson Palm; and her adoring mother, Janice M. Richardson; she was preceded in death by her father, Cecil J. Richardson. A public viewing will be held at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, on Monday, May 23rd, from 10:00 am- 12:00 pm with a Funeral Service beginning at 12:00 pm.Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church or Church Cemetery, 786 Mt. Olivet Church Rd., Fawn Grove, PA, 17321.
