Brad R. Weiss

d. December 22, 2024

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of beloved son and brother, Brad Robert Weiss. It has been our honor and greatest blessing to have been given 23 years with this outstanding young man. We will forever mourn his loss. Brad passed from this life on December 22, 2024 in Manchester, NH.

Brad was born on March 1, 2001 in Phoenix, AZ, to Dr. and Mrs. Michael and Katherine (Howe) Weiss. He was joyfully welcomed by his adored siblings, Mark and Daphne. Brad, Mark and Daphne were dubbed “The Weisslettes” early on; they shared a very close relationship seldom seen in siblings. Traveling with the Weisslettes was always an adventure!

Sadly, Brad’s identical twin brother Erik died in infancy. Also preceding him in death are his cousin Shane Joseph Howe, his fraternal grandparents Jerome and Ellen Weiss, and his maternal grandfather Robert “Bob” Howe.

Brad spent his early years in Glendale, Arizona where he attended Atonement Lutheran School. The family relocated to Glenville, PA in 2008. Brad was a 2019 graduate of Southwestern High School in Hanover. He attended Elon University in Elon, NC, graduating cum laude in 2022 with a B.S. degree in Psychology. Brad worked as a counselor at Nashua Children’s Home in Nashua, NH, a position that he truly embraced. He planned to become a forensic psychologist.

Brad was both a laid-back guy and a whirlwind. His interests and hobbies were many and varied; he was intelligent, kind, witty, artistic, and a devoted son, brother, and friend. He was a gifted vocalist who loved to travel, cook, and play Dungeons and Dragons. He was a devoted student (and intense critic) of cinema. There is far too much to say about Brad. He was an amazing human being.

Brad leaves behind many to remember him with a smile, including his adoring Gramma, Alice Howe. While Brad was living in Glenville, he and Alice had a standing library date every Thursday. Oftentimes, there was a trip to Dunkin’ and an old-fashioned doughnut involved. They were a mutual adoration society! Also missing Brad are his beloved uncles Matthew Howe and his wife Renata Leone; Jim Howe and wife Shira; his five “southern Howe” cousins Margaret, Captain Marc Howe, USAF (Shannon), Mary Grace Howe, James R. Howe, and Iris Howe. Brad also leaves “the lads,” a special group of young men with a years-long friendship, as well as the crazy Weiss basset hounds, Rudy, Nandor and Piper.

“His absence is like the sky, spread over everything.”
