Brenda L. Taylor

Brenda L. Taylor, 75, passed from this life on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. She was the wife of the late Preston H. ‘Al’ Taylor, Jr. who passed in 2020. Born in Maryland Line, Md, Brenda was the daughter of the late Ellsworth and Catherine (Barben) Grothe. She was an Executive Secretary for Verizon, retiring after 25 years of service. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing in the leagues. She was a wonderful aunt, taking time with her nieces and nephews doing many fun things. Brenda leaves many friends to mourn her passing and she will be dearly missed. Surviving is a sister-in-law, Dorothy Grothe of Freeland, MD; a niece, 3 nephews, 3 grand nieces, and 4 grand nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Patricia Hollingshead and Robert Grothe Sr., and a niece, Stacy Almony.
