Carlos Lee Phillips

Carlos Lee Phillips, 81, of Stewartstown, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022. He was the loving husband of Brenda Joyce Phillips; together they shared 62 years of marriage.

Born on August 28, 1941 in Dante, Virginia to the late Henry Jackson and Vida Lee (Ramsey) Phillips. Carlos worked as a plant manager in charge of three different pre- cast pre-stressed concrete plants for 52 years until his retirement in 2014.

In addition to his wife Brenda, he is survived by his three children, Colleen J. Edwards and her husband Dennis, Duncan Eric Phillips and his wife Katherine, and Michael Lee Phillips and his wife Darnelle; five grandchildren, Amanda Norman and her husband Adam, Joshua Edwards, Samantha Phillips and her fiancé Robert Miller, Patrick Phillips and his fiancé Catherine Burk, and Rachel Phillips; three great grandchildren, Jacob Norman, Finley Norman, and Wyatt Phillips; and brother, Willard Phillips and his wife Mary; and his sister in law, Theresa Peddicord.

There will be a public viewing on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 10:00-12:00p.m. at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc.; 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, PA 17363. A funeral service will begin at 12:00p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Highview Memorial Gardens, Fallston, MD.
