Charles Eugene Amberman

Charles Eugene Amberman, 91, of White Hall, MD, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022. Charles is survived by his wife of 61 years, Janet E. (Alloway) Amberman of White Hall, MD. He was born February 5, 1931 in Stewartstown to the late John and Margaret Elizabeth (Jones) Amberman. Charles attended West Virginia Wesley College and worked at Gichner’s as a machinist for 25 years. He was a United States Army Veteran, serving during the Korean War and a longtime member of West Liberty United Methodist Church. Charles is survived by his wife, Janet; two children, Hope E. Zeiber and her husband, Scott of New Columbia, and Theodore E. Amberman and his fiancée, Julie of Harrisburg; five grandchildren, Timothy, Nicholas, Jessica, Haley and Madison; and two brothers, William and Danny Amberman, both of Stewartstown. A Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc. located at 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, PA 17363. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
