Charles "Chuck" Sutton

Charles "Chuck" Sutton of Freeland, MD, received his wings to heaven on December 19, 2023. Born in 1952 to Charles and Shirley Sutton of Sparks, MD. He was a loving husband for 51 wonderful years to wife Daryl; and caring father of daughters Melissa “Missy” L. Marshall of Millers and Christel (Dan) McElfish of Freeland.

At 18, Chuck began his career in Trucking. He was the owner-operator of Sutton Trucking for more than 30 years. Known on the road by many as "Krispy Kritter," he drove for more than 40 years total with several companies including Lowes of Wesminster. If Chuck wasn't in a big rig you could find him cruising around in his Mustang or on his motorcycle. He truly had a passion for anything with wheels.

A proud member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles (FOE 2226, Littlestown, PA) where he had many roles including former past president, chaplain, and trustee. He found much joy being a part of the Eagles and it kept him busy during his retirement. Always known as a people person, he could strike up a conversation with anyone. His big heart made him someone you could count on to be the first to offer you the shirt off his back. It is for this that many admired and will miss him.

Surviving in addition to his wife and children are grandchildren Kayla, Veronica, Tyler, and Abigail, as well as his mother; Shirley M. Sutton of Sparks, brother; Jeff (Julie) Sutton of Upperco, and sister Stacey Sutton of IN. Preceded in death by his father Charles "Carlin" Sutton and son-in-law George N. Marshall Jr.
