Charles E. Winemiller, 77, died November 7, 2015, at Colonial Manor in York. He was the husband of Hilda M. (Routson) Winemiller. They celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on October 13, 2015.A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, November 14 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., including a memorial service and time for fellowship, at St. Paul United Methodist Church, Pylesville, Md. The Rev. Melissa A. McDade will officiate.Charles was born March 26, 1938, on the family farm in Stewartstown, a son of Archie and Minnie (Morris) Winemiller.He graduated from Kennard Dale High School and was very active in FFA. Charles was a retired farmer but was still very involved in the family's produce stand and making hay. He was a Baltimore Orioles fan and enjoyed NASCAR. He was an avid hunter and trapper. He loved their cabin in the mountains and feeding the bear doughnuts on a string off the porch. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by his daughter, Karen Winemiller of Stewartstown; granddaughter, Amber Cunningham Brunicke of Stewartstown; three great-grandkids, Trinity and Russell Brunicke and Daniel Schaeffer of Stewartstown; a sister, Mary Gemmill of Parkton. He was preceded in death by two sisters and seven brothers.In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a cancer organization of your choice; or St. Paul United Methodist Church, c/o Anna Lee Sadler, 1887 Eden Mill Rd., Pylesville, MD 21132.J.J.
