On Sunday, October 30, Charlotte W. (Weaver) Sprenkle, 81, died at home with family by her side. She was the wife of the late Harry W. "Hap" Sprenkle. Public viewings will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 3 at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, and again from 10 a.m. until a funeral service begins at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 4 at Calvary Bible Church, 603 Wilson Ave., Hanover. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. at Bethlehem Steltz Cemetery, Glen Rock. Pastor Rick Quinnett will officiate. Charlotte was born on January 6, 1935 in Hanover to the late Clarence and Carrie (Klinedinst) Weaver. She was a member of the Calvary Bible Church in Hanover. Surviving her are her children, Carol Scheuerman and husband, Ed, Lori Shultz and husband, Tim and Neal Sprenkle and wife, Sharon; nine grandchildren, Kara Hallead and husband, Zach, Nate Sprenkle, Caleb Shultz and wife, Jessica, Rebekah Neel and husband, Andrew, Drew Sprenkle and wife, Stevi, Breanne Rogers and husband, Robert, Phil Sprenkle and wife, Toni, Grace Scheuerman and Faith Zimmerman and husband, Kurtis; four great-grandchildren, Jaina and Fiona Hallead, Kaden Schultz and Theo Rogers; she is also survived by one sister, Carolyn Burger and husband, Gene. Charlotte is preceded in death by her husband, parents and one brother, Donald Weaver. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory are recommended to Calvary Bible Church at the address above.
