Charlotte A. Martin, 72, died Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Forest Hill Health & Rehabilitation Center. She is survived by her son, Kevin A. Martin;Edward J. Banks, her significant other for twenty seven years; andseveral nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters. Viewing will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 9 at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom. The funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Dr. Peggy Click officiating. Burial will follow at Middletown Cemetery, Freeland, MD. Born June 22, 1945 in Waynesboro, PA,Charlottewas the daughter of the late Charles V. and Alice (Gourley) Schull. Charlotte was a 1962 graduate of Hereford High School. She was employed as a pharmacy technician in Cockeysville for 30 years and previously was employed as a bank teller for PNC Bank for 5 years. Charlotte was Treasurer and a volunteer with Troop #730 Boy Scouts in Baltimore County. She also was a teacher’s aide for special needs children in the Baltimore County School System for 3 years. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Camp Green Top c/o Kathy Blumke “the Leaque,” 1111 E. Coal Spring Lane, Baltimore, MD 21239.
