Christine L. Fousek & Rylee A. Reynolds

d. August 22, 2022

Christine Lee Fousek and her daughter, Rylee Ann Reynolds died tragically the evening of August 22, 2022, at home in Stewartstown. Christine was born on October 21, 1987, in Baltimore, Maryland, moving to Stewartstown in 1994. She was the beloved daughter of Jacqueline A. Fousek and the late James F. Fousek Jr. She was the granddaughter of the late Eleanor M. Myers, the late Grace Fousek, and the late James Fousek. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving brother Joseph Fousek, her Aunt Carolyn Schwartz and her husband Edwin, her Uncle James Kayler, and his partner Marion Connolly.

Christy graduated from Kennard-Dale High School and had taken multiple courses at YTI Career Institute. She found her niche in the restaurant industry and rose through the ranks of responsibilities. At the time of her death, she was the General Manager of the Five Guys Restaurant in Shrewsbury, PA and had recently attended their National Conference in Las Vegas, NV. Most importantly, she loved and radiated all the joy that accompanied being Rylee’s mother. In her spare time, she enjoyed outdoor activities, spending vacation time at the beach and reading. All who knew her appreciated her profound sense of humor.

Rylee was born on December 21, 2016, in York, Pennsylvania and was the beloved daughter of Christine Fousek and Kenneth Reynolds. She was the cherished granddaughter of Jacqueline Fousek, the late James F. Fousek Jr., Gerald Griffey, and the late Tammy Reynolds. She was also the great-granddaughter of the late Eleanor Myers, the late Grace Fousek, the late Everett Sharp, and the late James Fousek. In addition to her father, she is survived by her uncles, Joseph Fousek and Cole York.

Rylee was a typical five going on six-year-old little girl; she enjoyed gardening with her Nana, playing with her dolls, singing with her mom, and was quite an accomplished gymnast. She loved to color with dad and was excited to learn how to play soccer. She was very much looking forward to her first day of kindergarten! Christine and Rylee were loved by many; two candles of light in our world have been extinguished far too soon!

There will be a memorial gathering honoring Christine and Rylee’s lives from 12 – 2 pm on Sunday , January 29, 2023, at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care Inc., 19 S. Main Street, Stewartstown, PA 17363.
