Christopher Steven Meinecke

We remember Christopher Steven Meinecke, 62, of New Freedom, PA, whose spirit departed from us  on Friday, January 10th, 2025. Born on December 12, 1962 in Baltimore City, MD, he was a son to Charles A. and Diana B. (Collins) Meinecke of Freeland, MD.

Chris was a man of unwavering friendship and kindness, has left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. He worked at Arbor Care Tree Experts in Carroll County, MD for many years in the field which he thrived. He attended St. Clement Mary Hofbauer School and graduated from Hereford High School. Chris was a brilliant guitarist, most recently playing with his band “Play Money”. He relished in riding his Harley and radiated in the time spent among his family and friends.

Chris is survived by his parents Charles and Diana, his daughter Randi Bulkley (Ben); two sisters Karen Lynn Riley and Cindy C. Meadowcroft (Bill); two nieces Lauren Robinson (Chris) and Jennifer Lleras (Jaime), nephew Tom Meadowcroft, great nieces & nephews Lettie and Delia, Wade and Diego and; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

We invite all who cherished Chris to a viewing from 2:00 – 4:00 pm & 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Friday, January 17, 2025 at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, PA 17349. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday January 18, 2025 at 11:00 amat Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church; 18310 Middletown Rd., Parkton, MD 21120. Interment will immediately follow the service in Moreland Cemetery, 2901 Taylor Ave., Parkville, MD.
