Clarence Robert "Bob" Holmes

Clarence Robert “Bob” Holmes, Sr., 71, of Airville, died on April 17, 2021.He was the husband of Patricia L. (Smith) Holmes, to whom he was married for 51 years. Bob was born at home in Baltimore, MD to Claude William and Ruth Anna (Cox) Holmes. He attended Harford Technical High School and graduated from North Harford High School after studying Building Trades, Class of 1970. He was the owner of C. Robert Holmes Building & Remodeling for 46 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia, daughter S. Dawn Claiborne and husband Mark and son C. Robert Holmes, Jr. and wife Jenny; grandchildren Gavin P. and Layne C. Holmes; brother Claude “Bud” Holmes Jr. and his wife Shelva; sister Catherine Teague and her husband Paul; nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Mary Holmes. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
