Cleatus A. “Monk” Kibler, 81, of Freeland, MD passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Baltimore. He was the husband of Deborah L. (Hopson) Kibler. Born in Luray, Virginia he was a son of the late Aaron and Sybill (Comer) Kibler. Monk was a self-employed contractor for over 50 years who enjoyed horseback riding, trips to the mountains, flying, and especially fishing with his grandson Cody. He will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his wife Debbie, he is survived by five children Vickie Kibler of Mississippi, Terrie Pantolope of Branson, MO, Sharon of Baton Rouge, LA, Christa Carlino of Baton Rouge, LA and Candace Meil of Clearwater, FL; 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; one sister Annette Cates of Luray, Virginia. Monk was preceded in death by one sister Virginia Neal and four brothers David, Edward, James and John Kibler. Services will be held at a later date.
