Connie Lou Reuter

Connie Lou Reuter, 58, died Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at North Greenville Hospital, Travelers Rest, S.C. A viewing will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Monday, December 7, at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom. The funeral service will begin at 5 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Melissa A. McDade officiating. Following cremation, interment will take place at the convenience of the family in West Liberty United Methodist Cemetery, White Hall, Md. Connie was employed as a machinist at JPS Composite Materials, Slater, S.C., and was a member of Slater Baptist Church where she loved teaching children's Sunday school. She is survived by her mother, Anna Jean (Price) Ensor; her sons, Zachary Walker, Keith Reuter, and Adam Reuter; several grandchildren; siblings, Barbara Rush, John Rush, Jeff Rush, and Lisa Weber; and nieces and nephew, Miranda, Holly, Karen, Emily, and John. Connie was preceded in death by her father, John H. Rush, and stepfather, Charles Ensor. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Connie's name may be made to Slater Baptist Church, 113 Whitney St., Slater, SC 29683.
