Cosimo Anthony Rubino

Cosimo Anthony Rubino, 77, of New Freedom, PA passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024. He was the loving husband of Susan T. (Fritz) Rubino. Born in Exeter, PA, he was the son of the late Cosmo and Florinda “Linda” (Nardone) Rubino.

Cosimo had many enjoyments such as his love of cooking and international cuisine. He enjoyed his wine, and loved golf. He would also make and repair golf clubs. Cosimo joined the Navy right out of high school. After the Navy, he started working at The State University of New York at Binghamton. He worked for government agencies after the Navy as well, including the National Institute of Health, IRS, and the Department of Treasury in Washington, D.C.. Cosimo had many passions in life, but his biggest passion and love was his wife Sue, his two dogs, Alex and Benny, and his family.

Cosimo is survived by his wife Sue; and brothers, Anthony Rubino and Joseph Rubino. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Theresa Klimchak; and two dogs, Alex and Benny.

Friends and family are invited to a funeral liturgy at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 315 N. Constitution Ave., New Freedom, PA 17349, Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 12 PM. Interment will immediately follow in the adjoining church cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue, 2 Heritage Farm Rd., New Freedom, PA 17349.
