Craig M. Mudrock

d. May 22, 2021

Craig M. Mudrock, 58, of Shrewsbury passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021. He was the loving husband of Robin A. (Fitch) Mudrock to whom he was married 32 years. He remains in the hearts of his two daughters, Elisabeth A. Mudrock, Lauren N. Mudrock, son-in-law, Kasey P. Most, and family dog, Winnie P. Mudrock. Born in PA, he was the son of Madelyn (Gondal) Slaymaker and the late Thomas Mudrock. Now for the good stuff: this will come as no surprise to those who know him, but he absolutely loved his Penn State football. An avid member of the BWI Lion’s Den forum, he earned that “Well-Known Member” badge (8500+ posts over 20 years!). On any given day, you could find him watching Fox News, yelling at the TV, or blaring classic rock on his beloved stereo. If he wasn’t in the house, the music was coming from his car. He had a passion for live music, and a few days prior to his passing he stumbled upon a Jimmy Buffet concert with his wife. He was a successful business owner of 21 years and provided a great life for his family. In addition to his wife, daughters, and mother, he is survived by two sisters, Lisa A., wife of Steven Schwartz and Diana M., wife of Andy Sceski; brother-in-law Lawrence C. Fitch and sister-in-law Beth L., wife of Harold (JR) Most. Craig was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Robert K. and Anna L. Fitch. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 11AM from Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom with Rev. George M. Schneider officiating. Interment will follow in New Freedom Cemetery. Viewings will be held Tuesday evening from 3-5pm and 7-9pm at the funeral home and on Wednesday from 10am until the time of the service. Attendees will be required to wear a mask per funeral home policy. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to YMCA Southern Community Services, 2100 Constitution Avenue, PO Box 263, Shrewsbury, PA 17361.
