Dale Lionel Kurtz

Dale Lionel Kurtz, 77, of Glen Rock, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023 surrounded by his family. He is the loving husband of Diane L. (Reed) Kurtz of Glen Rock with whom he shared 29 years of marriage.

Born in York, he was the son of the late Fulton L. and Miriam L. (Bubb) Kurtz.

Dale was a proud partner of New Concept Manufacturing in York. He was an avid elk hunter, outdoor enthusiast who had a love for nature. He enjoyed gardening and listening to country music. He was known to most as a guy who made life fun every time he was around.

In addition to his wife, Diane, he is survived by three children, Wendy Sue Kurtz, Danielle Ann Kurtz, and Jason David Kilmoreand his spouse, Molly Grace; five grandchildren, Tyler, Zachary and Max Ozazewski, Connor and Reagan Kilmore; sister, Judy Werner; and two brothers, Daniel and David Kurtz.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents and brother Dennis Kurtz.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a viewing from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 9th and from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m on Sunday, December 10th, at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, PA 17349.There will be a funeral service at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, December 10, at the funeral home with Rev. David Tietje officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Glen Rock, PA.
