Dale R. "Jack" Mcclain

Dale R. “Jack” McClain, 93, of Shrewsbury passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021. He was the loving husband of Shirley R. (Ehrhart) McClain to whom he was married 71 years. Born in Shrewsbury Twp. He was a son of the late Gerry McClain, Sr. and Florence (Geislman) McClain. Jack was a member of the Cornhill Fish and Game Club. In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter Sandra R. Yannone of York. He was preceded in death by 11 siblings Cecil, Richard, Glen, John, Donald, Larry, Gerry, Jr., Thomas, Lois, Betty and Ruth. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 3PM from Christ Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, 200 S. Highland Ave. Shrewsbury with Rev. Brian Biery officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 105 S. Main St., Shrewsbury, PA 17361 or to Heartland Hospice of York, 3417 Concord Rd., Suite C., York, PA 17402.
