Daniel E. Aten

Daniel E. Aten, 61, passed away unexpectedly on Monday October 7, 2024. He was the loving son to Donald H. and Grace Aten of Glen Burnie, Maryland, and to the late Dorothy (Walman) Gregory. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Dan was a roofer in the constructions industry for many years. He loved many outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, and golf. He enjoyed bowling and was a part of a bowling league for many years. Dan was a diehard Baltimore Ravens fan, a great friend to many but above all, he loved his family.

Surviving are four children, Amanda Aten, Nicole Loucks, Jacob Schulte, and Nathan Aten; ten grandchildren, Logan, Hailee, London, Kaiden, Levi, Ashlynn, Aubree, Jaxson, Kai, and Hunter. Dan was looking forward to the arrival of Baby Finn Oliver due in February. Also surviving is a sister, Diana Kopp; two half-sisters, Michele McNicholl and Stephanie Carroll; and two stepsisters, Rhonda Kaiser and Tammy Stein. He and his former wife, Susan Aten, were close and still celebrated holidays together with their children. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Aten and a stepsister, Michelle Smith.
