Daniel Carlos Eaton, 51, passed from this life on Saturday, July 13, 2024. He was the loving husband of Tracey L. (Curtis) Eaton and they were married on April 9, 2016. He was born in Woburn, Massachusetts, a son of Lucia ‘Carmen’ (Gutierrez) of Dundalk, MD, and the late Robert Lawrence Eaton.
Daniel was a talented musician, singer and song writer who loved using his gifts in service to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He loved people and had a true servant’s heart. He loved volunteering in the church music ministry, church security detail, youth camp ministry, motorcycle ministry and community outreaches. Daniel graduated from Maryland Bible College and Seminary in 2008 with an associates degree. He had a deep respect and love for the Word of God and was diligent to hide it in his heart. He loved bow hunting, ice skating, kayaking, and being with friends. He made everything fun. Everyone who knew him noted his unusually kind, gentle nature. He always preferred others to himself and walked in genuine humility.
Daniel made several missionary trips to different countries by faith. In Bible College one of his favorite things to do was share his faith with complete strangers just about every opportunity he could. Because he was curious and interested in everything, he could strike up a conversation with anybody and everybody. And because he genuinely cared about people he always shared with them how important and loved they were by God. He visited Ghana, Togo, and Haiti for the purpose of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He wanted to do more missionary work, but the LORD called him home.
He was respected and loved at his job as a master HVAC technician. He could fix just about anything mechanical that was broken. He did everything wholeheartedly and with a great attitude.
Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are two half-brothers, Ronnie Eaton and his partner, Donna Sharp, and Robert Eaton and his wife, Gail. He loved his family with all his heart and made efforts to keep in touch with all of them even though they were spread out geographically. His niece, Vanessa and nephew, Eric were both very special and dear to him, and he always referred to their mother Helen as his sister. His half-brothers also had another half-brother, Todd, who Daniel referred to as his "quarter brother" and loved dearly.
