Daniel O. Bumbaugh

Daniel O. Bumbaugh Jr., 72, of Shrewsbury, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. He was the husband of Joan E. (Krieger) Cupp Bumbaugh with whom he shared 32 years of marriage. Born in York, he was the son of the late Daniel O. Bumbaugh, Sr., and Theresa Mary (Phillips) Bumbaugh.

Daniel graduated from Penn State University. He was a member of Shrewsbury Assembly of God and was a former Board member. He was also a member and Board member for the York Camera Club; his hobbies included photography and watching NASCAR and football.

In addition to his wife Joan, he is survived by two stepdaughters, Dawn (Cupp) Mayfield and her husband, James, and Denise (Cupp) Raudebaugh and her husband Mark; four grandchildren, Ryan and Nicholas Mayfield and Matthew and Rachel Raudebaugh; a sister, Linda Collier; and special long-time family friends, Sara and Scott Taylor and their children, Christina and Jennifer. He was preceded in death by his sister, Penny Hogan.

There will be a visitation from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, October 24 at Shrewsbury Assembly of God, 234 N. Main St., Shrewsbury, PA 17361. A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 25 at the church. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family at Greenmount Cemetery, York, PA.
