David H. Mckee

David H. McKee passed away, March 2, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.He was the husband of Carol F. McKee, whom he married October 1968, celebrating 49 years together.He was born on January 2, 1947 in Baltimore, MD, and was the son of late Hunter Robert and Ida Marie (Pearce) McKee. David attended Harford Community College prior to enlisting in the United States Navy, where he served 4 years from 1968-1972. He later worked as a Stationary Engineer for Procter & Gamble for many years. David’s passion was restoring and working on John Deere Tractors. He also enjoyed talking about politics and history. He will be dearly remembered by his wife, Carol and two children, David B. McKee and Christopher R. McKee; a sister, Nancy V. Lafferty and her husband, Jim and other family members and friends. Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, PA is assisting the family. Services will be private at the convenience of his family.
