David K. (Foot) Miller

David K ‘Foot’ Miller, 70, passed from this life on Saturday, July 23, 2022. He was the loving husband of Christine (Koontz) Miller and they celebrated 39 years of marriage on July 5, 2022. Born July 26, 1951 he was the son of the late Paul E. and Delores C. (Diffendall) Miller.A 1970 graduate of the York County Vo- Tech, and he proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1971-1972 where he was stationed at Fort Bliss, TX. Dave owned and operated Miller’s Welding & Maintenance for over 37 years and he worked at various other companies as a welder and in maintenance depts. He loved fabrication and could make anything, and loved proving people wrong when they thought it could not be done; his welding skills were remarkable and people considered him to be one of the best. He enjoyed the mountains and loved being ‘Camp Cook’ at his cousin’s cabin. He enjoyed cooking at outdoor parties. Dave was a member of the American Legion Post 403, Glen Rock, and later Dallastown Post 605. Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Brandy Keeney and her husband, Alan; 2 grandchildren, Kelci and Tyler; and 2 brothers, William Miller and his wife, Rebecca, and Robert Miller. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 5:30 -7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 2, at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. 2nd St., New Freedom, PA 17349.
