David Lee Nelson

David Lee Nelson, passed away on January 11, 2022. He was born in York, PA on March 24, 1947 to the late William Lee Nelson and Miriam Louise (Jenkins) Nelson. David worked for many years at D & D Scarborough, Inc. before starting his own business, Nelson Remodeling. He was self-employed for 20 years.David was an avid golfer, making the rounds at many of the local golf courses and was recently involved in the “Super Senior League” at Briarwood Golf Club, he also loved to fish, hunt, and shoot. He was an outdoorsman by all respects. David’s passion was his family; daughters, Rebecca and Kelly and his only grandchild, Rachel. Rachel was the light of his life. David is survived by his daughter’s, Rebecca Lynn Nelson and Kelly Elizabeth Urban (Jeff); granddaughter, Rachel Urban; sister, Karen Nelson; he is also survived by many dear friends. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Hartenstein Funeral and Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, PA 17349. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 21st at 11:00 am at Centre Presbyterian Church, 83 New Park Rd. New Park, PA 17352.Interment will immediately follow at the church cemetery.
